I’m modifying the Sandbox wordpress theme and I have no knowledge about PHP (I’m fine with CSS though). I need to add a to the one of my menu items to get the desired effects.

However, I have no idea how to do that or what files would dictate the hierarchy of the page.

Can someone give a pointer? or how to add a tag? I have all the php files, including the index. I just don’t know where to modify and how.

But I can’t find a decent theme. Woo Themes are great beacuse they let you play around with their themes before you buy them. But they don’t have anything that really fits with what I want.

BUT the comment/discussion area is one of the most important parts of my blog and this theme seems to only allow people to reply to the article and not to reply to each other. Maybe this is an option that can be changed, but how would I even find out before buying it? I don’t see a way to contact anyone or to even see the theme in action (such as on another actual website that uses the theme).

The 3 most important aspects of my website would be the main page slider containing featured articles, having different collums on the main page for recaps, news, gossip etc… and having a good comment area where people can reply to each other and carry on conversations.
But it also has to look good, I need to be able to customize the header, background, and colors.
I can’t seem to be able to find a theme that contains all of these things.

I’ve spent the last 3 days spending hours looking at themes, I have 10 tabs open in my browser right now and my head is spinning. I don’t know what to do.

These are my top pics. All of them have something I want, but they are all also missing one of my “must have’s”. Is there even one theme out there that can give me what I want?? Help!!
