We have just come back of holiday in ITALY which was very nice. The villa that we stayed in was called il cigno just outside Rieti and was once the home of a famous artist called Geleng. I would like to find out more information about him but i dont know where to look. Does anyone have any ideas or any information about him?
Hi, Im booking a holiday to marmaris for a week in september. Its our first time going there so was hoping someone could recommend nice self catering apartments close to everything (buses, beach, centre, restaurants/bars etc.)
I have been looking at Villa Sol Apartments, which look lovely in the book and online (although they all do!)

We dont need package holidays as we are travelling there ourselves so it is just the accomadation.

Recently a friend of mine hit the roof when she found out that her husband had, whilst on a works holiday, shared a villa with a woman, it wasn’t just him and her, there were 8 other men but she was the only woman, and he wasn’t sharing a room with her.
He didn’t feel he had done anything wrong and asked am i not allowed to have female friends?
my friend however felt that there must be more to this, he fancied her maybe, and so it got me thinking how would other people react to this, is my friend over reacting or should she infact be worried?, i would be interested to hear from people who maybe share a close bond with a friend of the opposite sex, thanks.
I am about to book a villa, and a lot of places say you have to be over 21. I am not 21 yet, but I will be 21 when i go on my holiday. Should I just book anyway?

Me and my hubby are off on holiday next year with my parents, brother & his g/f as a bit of a birthday celebration for my mum who turns 50.
We are staying in our own villa. I would normally wear a wicked weasel g-string bikini but for obvious reasons thats not a great idea. Anyone know of any companies that do sexyish bikinis that don’t show everything off?

My girlfriend and i are planning our holiday for next summer and we are thinking the south of France.. We haven’t looked at any holiday brochgures yet as we are still researching hence there are few things we would like to know…
Can i have some advice on where is the best places to stay / go etc.
We are after somewhere which has a good beach, good bars / restaurants / nighlife and some French culture and plenty to do.
We were also thinking going self catering.. Does anyone know any nice villas / apartments which are popular?
